Born in San Francisco and raised in Beijing, Julia is a hybrid of both cultures and carries a global perspective. During her time as Chief of Staff / Global Business Operations Lead at Alibaba North America, she led cross-border operations and communications, bridging the US local team and China headquarters through creating structure and streamlining the process. She has expertise in the Chinese market and is well-connected with Chinese manufactures, distributors, and marketers. Whether it’s optimizing your operations process, expanding your product offerings to Chinese customers, or finding ethical but lower-cost resource pipelines, Julia can help give your business an extra edge.

Before Alibaba, Julia was a Strategic Planning Analyst at the Walt Disney Company's Corporate Strategy team. She built the global financial model for Disney+, the subscription video streaming service launched in 2019, working directly with the DTCI CFO and the core strategy team to create financial projections and strategy decks for Disney's C-level meetings. Julia started her career with McKinsey & Company, one of the top management consulting firms, and mastered the problem-solving framework very early on in her career. Whether it's conducting market research, building financial models, or creating pitch decks, Julia can help you achieve your business goals.

Aside from her professional experience, Julia is a social entrepreneur who aspires to create innovative social impact through business. When she was a student at Brown University, Julia founded Tink Knit, a 501(c)3 nonprofit ethical fashion brand that financially empowers hundreds of single mothers through knitting, solving the work-family conflict social problem. Through founding Tink Knit, Julia received the McKinsey Women’s Impact Award and the Walmart Women’s Economic Empowerment Award. She spoke at multiple events including TEDxBrownU on the topic of startups and philanthropy, featured on publications including Rhode Island Monthly Magazine, Brown Alumni Magazine, and Brown Daily Herald Newspaper.

Julia is an aspiring entrepreneur at heart, empowering other entrepreneurs to accomplish their dreams.
